Owning and standing in your power is critical to standing in your power and living to your highest potential. It's so important that you hone in on it so that you will no longer be your own enemy and hold yourself back.
Do you feel like your voice is being muted?
Like something’s standing in your way?
Or that you can’t feel, hear or see what you need to know your voice?
You are not alone!
I want to share 3 factors that I've found are holding my clients back and causing them to give away their power, hide their light and mute their message.
1. Competing with others.
You are a unique, one-of-a-kind creation! God does not compare you to anyone else. You have gifts and talents that you've been given that will help you live out your purpose. Comparing your gifts, journey, or success with anyone else's only causes you to jump from one idea to the next, looking for "instant success" and it takes you out of your power and purpose. Stop comparing yourself with anyone else. It is a distraction. Focus on YOUR mission.
2. Too much clutter.
How a woman thinks is how her life goes. Often when we compare ourselves with others we begin to clutter our mind with junk that steals our power and peace. As powerful and complex as your mind is, it can get cluttered. When it's cluttered you can feel overwhelmed and it affects your actions.
Feeling very cluttered inside often creates a cluttered environment around you—it’s almost like your voice is cramped in this space. The clutter might be…
limiting thoughts
people we need to cut from our lives
past mistakes
your physical space and environment
I challenge you to grab a pen, a notebook and find a quiet place to sit. Say aloud, "What clutter needs to be cleared from my life?" and sit quietly and write anything that comes to mind. Clutter creates chaos. In order for clarity to move in, you have got to remove the clutter.
3. The disease of being busy.
Busy seems to be the new norm. People have no time to rest, little time for friends and family, no time to think, just being busy, busy, busy. Being busy and doing lots of things of little or no real significance at times. It's no wonder many women can stand in their power.
Living at your highest potential requires the ability to channel your energy into what is really important.
Busy-ness leads to -
greater stress
more anxiety
less happiness
confusion
not getting what really matters to you accomplished
To combat and defeat busy-ness try -
saying "NO"
identify your top 3 goals then put down your phone (even better - turn it off) and do the work
make time for self-care
make time to spend quality your family and friends
Constantly being busy with things that don’t support you, your goals and your wellbeing, blur your clarity and rob you of your power. Busy-ness is not the same as being productive.
Warrior Point - You have the power to create the life that you want to live, to stand in your power and reach your full potential. It’s inside of you. You are more powerful than you ever imagined. By giving your power away to clutter, busyness or anything else is away, is like throwing your hard earned money in the air for others to take. Why not keep it and use it?
